OXY Petroleum Year in Review Video 2009 Technical workflow for 2 remote edit houses to co-work on the project. Involved shooting 40 hours of footage, providing access to over 6TB and 80 hours of 1080p footage to create 3, 10 minute pieces. Technical workflow developed between motion graphics and video editing to ensure quick access to files, and version tracking and control. Worked on the motion graphics components using After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Looks Builder. Symantec Web Videos 2009 Scenario ThreeScenario One SFX sound design and mix for the pieces Developed tapeless XDCAM technical workflow to keep to a tight schedule of one day of shooting and 6 days of editorial and a 3 week schedule to produce 3, 3 minute spots.
Square Enix E3 event booth 2009 Created technical workflow for all media on the event. On-site editor and operator for the 30 ft LED wall. 3 game play loops playing on 30+ in plasma displays all controlled remotely backstage. 1080p trailer loop for LED wall. Designed to have instant access to edit and tweak media on-site. Designed and setup seamless failover system and sync system for media. Flawless execution, zero failures over a 3-day run. Highest resolution wall at E3, the booth got attention from main players as the most innovative elegant design and execution at the event.
Intel GPU v CPU SFX for motion graphics piece, sound mix and mastering. Adobe MAX 2009 Technical workflow and training of on-site technicians. Developed technical workflow for producing 2k color space animation and HD 1080p video. Intel MID Print to Flash Campaign 2009 Technical workflow for migrating projects from written format to a Flash based interactive format. Developed method to move from After Effects into Flash (CS2, before cross platform capability existed). Developed XML layers system to provide Intel with a way to localize the video, by easily changing text and graphics. HP Software Universe 2009 Event Developed all digital technical workflow to do traditional stop motion animation quickly and affordably. Leveraged digital technology such as iStop Motion, Nikon D2 still camera, large format ink jet printer and Final Cut Pro.

Designed post production workflow for webcast and fiber uplink to online media outlets. Onsite technical media lead. Responsible for demo machine room, 8 computers, mixed platforms PCs and Macs, live switching of audio. Live HD video capture setup from an HD truck. Setting up real time HD playback from a laptop through an HD to SD FC line setup. Sending data digitally through FC lines to real time compression house in Las Vegas. Intel Live Captures 2008 Created a hardware/software solution to accurately capture benchmark tests for Intel Created a mobile setup to take to Intel offices Trained internal staff on the workflow Created technical documentation of the process

Seagate’s Eco Seagate Event 2007, 2008 Part OnePart TwoPart Three Developed real-time HD editorial workflow for extreme sports project in New Zealand. Leveraged P2/HDV technology and shared storage solutions to keep costs low and productivity high. Data backup and redundancy structures developed. 720p project with a total of 60 hrs of footage. Each day a finished highlights reel is presented to the client (6 days straight). Footage is then transported and edited in the USA for a 20 min documentary of the event.
Visa VIM Video 2007 This video was created on a tight budget using a live uncompressed 1080p chromakey capture setup. Kira trained the chromakey technician to work with HDV cameras but ingest an un-compressed signal.
Square Enix Final Fantasy XII Release 2007 Created post production workflow for the Collectors Edition Final Fantasy XII DVD
Mercury World 2007 Finishing editor for the show opener, created Flash, WMV, and QuickTime compressions for website. Technical advisor for MIDI sync performance of musicians. Media presented on an 80 ft custom built projection screen.
Amgen ED&O Event 2006 HD p2 card workflow developer and technologist. Trained on-site team to work with technology in a real-time shoot and edit system. Setup time code sync on all live feeds for easy multi-cam editing. DVD highlights reel of the event delivered on the third day of the show.
Square Enix Dragon Quest Heros Rocket Slime ISV 2006 Finishing editor on this in store video promotion. Deliverables included compressions, tape layoffs, and video DVDs.
