Multimedia Interactive Art

16 Pieces A collaboration with Jer Welter. There were 4 sets of images that went together to make a visual story, under each image were electric switches that visitors could press to turn on and off sound loops. The sound loops could then be mixed and matched to create a soundtrack for the visual story. These different storylines and soundtracks could be mixed and heard in real time.

Militant Vegans A room sized exhibit dealing with issues of crime, law, security and voyeurism . The room was Detective Camille Claudel's office. Visitors were invited to wear the Detective's hat, play Claudel's audio tapes, watch video surveillance footage, read Claudel's log entries, route through her desk and look at evidence in the form of pictures and objects on the walls.

Interactive Video Art

The Eye is Upon You A collaboration with Jer Welter. This piece looks at roles of watcher and watched, voyeurism and privacy in the digital age. Visitors were asked to enter a booth where a loop of video material was running. A secret camera recorded the visitor while they watched the video and broadcast ed their image to the outdoor display case. The image was displayed on a computer monitor disguised as a picture frame.

Text Based Interactive Art

Collective Story Special thanks to Josh Atkins and Nat Duca for their help with this project! Collective story asks visitors to enter parts of speech into a form, when the form is submitted a story is created using their words. The stories are based on actual fear propaganda perpetuated by society. The project seeks to subvert the text with random words thereby removing the element of fear. in the stories.

Graphics Based Interactive Art

Balance the Budget Visitors were asked to balance the US budget by choosing items from the possible budget items on the left and moving them to the final budget column on the right. Visitors could submit their budgets by pressing a button, which triggered a camera to record their final budget.

Directions Visitors could unroll or roll-up large fabric sheets of graphic images . Each person could create the combination of images that they found most pleasing.
