Kira taught lab components of classes, worshops, specialty skills for multimedia projects and more for Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2004. Kira instituted these instructional materials for her coursework at Johns Hopkins. 90% of these "How To" and reference documents were created or co-created by Kira.

Kira taught mutlimedia skills in one-on-on one tutoring sessions at Photo Works, in Baltimore, MD from 2000 to 2001. She did production work in video art, promotional videos, graphic design, and hung the in-house gallery shows for Photo Works as well.

From 1998 to 2000 Kira taught the lab component of Goucher college computer music classes under the mentorship of Dr. Geoffry Wright.

- Presented 2 art and technology research papers at the 2004 Hawaii International Humanities Conference.

- Visual designer Female Parts 2004 theatre production at The Theatre Project.

- Technical coordinator for Landscapes the 2003 i2 collaboration with University of Maryland Baltimore County. Led JHU technical and creative teams over 30 participants included students, faculty, and staff from both schools.

- Solo show PLay in 2003 featured 8 original interactive artworks.
